Have you ever made an effort to find an answer? Well, if we delve deeper we will discover that most programs lack vision, and they focus only on quick fix and short term results for example lose 7 lbs in 7 Days sort of thing.<span id="more-203"></span></p>
<p>But, what happens after the 7 Days? If anyone is a bit bothered.<br />
I am not trying to be a cynical here. I have tried some of these 7 Day programs myself. And, I must admit some of them do work. They are great for short term results. Losing 7Ibs in 7 Days by living on juice and water, and exercising for at least 40 minutes daily is not “Rocket Science” I am sure most people will be able to do it.<br />
But, living only on juice and water for long, and staying healthy and fit is another question. When I say a longer period of time I don’t mean years, rather a few months.</p>
<p>We must remember deprivation is not a good idea in the long run. It is a step-by-step formula for disaster. Unfortunately, most weight loss detox programs suggest you severely cut down in your food intake. I call it “The Insanity Concept.”</p>
<p>Myth: You need to eat less to remain slim, fit and gorgeous<br />
Cutting down food intake is wonderful; we cannot go on an eating rampage and expect to be slim, healthy and gorgeous. Can we? I am sure you will agree we should only eat enough to keep us healthy nothing more or less.<br />
But, there is a catch? Cutting down food intake and depriving our body of essential nutrients can be fatal. If you deprive your body and mind you will be in trouble sooner than later.<br />
A good “Balanced Diet” is what you can always eat: 365 days of the year, and for your whole life without the need to worry about weight gain, obesity, pre-mature ageing etc.</p>
<p>A balanced diet should cure and heal without any side effects, whatsoever.<br />

Similarly, starving and feeling hungry is a bodily sensation. Your body is trying to say something to you very politely, “I need more food and nutrients.” In other words, it is simply asking you to refuel.<br />
What do you think will happen if you consistently ignore this nice and gentle message of your body?<br />

In the Western World, we have become self-sufficient in terms of food, so we are privileged that we no longer experience food shortage. But, our body is still programmed to deal with stress and anxiety in the same manner as it did in the past.<br />
